Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Peel

This is another great product I got to try for free from Bzz Agent.  I was skeptical at first.  I was cursed with adult acne, and with wanting to have kids I didn't want to do anything too extreme like acutane.  However I was lucky enough to get some peels at the dermatologist last year.  I had met my out of pocket max so I didn't have to pay anymore.  This year I don't want to pay $50 a pop to have that done, even though it was helping my skin.

I was pretty sure there was no way an at home peel could do any good.  However I have been proved wrong.  My skin felt smoother when I put on my makeup after just one use.  And it was nice that my skin wasn't peeling off all over the place so I could go out and about anytime that week.  At about $17 this is a much more affordable option.  And a little goes a long ways.  You need less than 1 pump worth to cover your face and neck.  Plus it smells great and is easy to use.  You just wash your face before bed, apply the peel and moisturize.  Then you're good to go.  You don't even have to do anything special the next morning.  I don't have a ton of dark marks on my face, but the acne marks are extremely embarrassing.  So I'm really excited to keep using this so I can watch them disappear.

The Simple Truth

I got picked to try the new line of Simple Truth organic products by Bzz Agent.  I had never tried anything like the Blackberry Pomegranate soda.  It actually has juice in it.  And it tastes great.  My husband kept drinking mine, and I didn't really want to share.  I'm also not big on things like protein or health bars.  I don't usually care for the taste of them.  However the Fudge Graham Nutrition Bar was extremely good.  I was sad to share that one too.  I also got to try the Natural Sweet Potato Chips.  They surprised me as well.  They weren't nearly as salty as other chips, and they were made from actual sweet potatoes.  The Vanilla Almond Milk is really good in smoothies.  (I made a kale smoothie with about a cup of the Almond Milk, 1 or 2 fuji apples, a banana, about a cup of chopped kale and about a cup of ice.  It tastes great and is really good for you)  And the Berry Medley was delicious in fruit parfaits.  These are really great products made for Kroger and found at your local Smith's.  You can check out all the great products and information about Simple Truth here.

These products are organic so they are free from pesticides and are grown more naturally.  Obviously this is a healthier way to eat, but can be really expensive.  Now that Kroger has it's own line it's a whole lot more affordable.  Plus if you have a Smith's savings card you can often find coupons on their website for products like these.  You just load it to your card and the savings come off at the register.

Don't forget to check out Bzz Agent if you'd like to be able to try products like these for free like I was able to.

A Great Way to Escape!

Wow, I got a great sampling opportunity from Bzz Agent.  I got to try 6 flavors of Cafe Escapes for free.  These are for your Keurig.  You can get a ton of varieties.  There is something for everyone. And I still have a few high value coupons if you'd like one.  They expire at the end of the month.

My sampling pack included Milk and Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoas, Cafe Caramel, Cafe Vanilla, Chai Latte and Cafe Mocha.  These are great they are in little pods that you pop into your Keurig brewer and you've got a great hot beverage ready to enjoy.  These are all nice and sweet so you don't even need to add syrups, sweeteners or creamers.  I'm a huge sweet fan and these aren't overly sweet which is great since I'm trying to cut back on my sugar intake.  I really like how easy these are to make.  It sure makes it easy to have an escape any time you're in the mood.

These are made by Green Mountain Coffee which is a great company that I have blogged about in the past.  For more information check out Cafe Escapes.  Also if you'd like to sample great products check out Bzz Agent.

Delicious Veggie Burgers

These spicy black bean burgers are delicious!  I know you're thinking how can a veggie burger be good.  But these take the cake.  Even my 2 year old loves them.  I love the taste and how fast and easy they are to make.  You can grill them, cook them on the stove or in the microwave.  I didn't care for them cooked in the microwave as much, they got a bit chewy.  But if that's all you have it would work.

It's really great that you can get in a bunch of veggies at lunch and have something that's easy and tastes great.  My personal favorite is the spicy black bean burgers.  They have more flavor that the original burgers.  I like to add a little bit of Worcestershire sauce when I cook them, and some bbq sauce when they are cooked.  Plus they are nice and filling.  I still have 1 coupon left if you'd like to give them a try.  They come in boxes of 4 or 8 at the grocery store, or you can buy them in larger boxes at places like Costco.  I like the smaller boxes because they are packaged 2 per bag.  Then I can keep the other ones fresh easier.

I got to try these free because I'm a Bzz Agent. You should check them out if you'd like to read more about this Bzz Campaign, or if you'd like to become a Bzz Agent like me.
