Mahogany Pork Roast Review and Recipe

Wahoo!  I got another great sample opportunity from Bzz Agent.  I got an entire meal to cook for my family completely free.

All I had to do was go to the store with my free coupons and pick up the food.  It was a super easy meal and my family cleaned up after.

I have always been intimidated by cooking pork.  I chose the Mahogany Pork Roast recipe.  I had all the ingredients already and my pork tenderloins turned out very moist and juicy.  I got free ready made mashed potatoes and crescent rolls as well.  I didn't love the mashed potatoes.  I prefer my homemade ones, but they weren't bad for pre-made.  We also got a free cake mix and frosting.  I was really happy with how the cake turned out. I always buy name brand cake mixes, but the Kroger one was just as good and a lot less expensive.

Kroger Mahogany Pork Roast
Ingredients
Non-stick cooking spray
2 Moist & Tender pork tenderloins (about 1 lb each)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 large clove garlic, minced

Directions
1. Combine honey, soy sauce, and garlic in large resealable plastic food storage bag.  Reserve 1/4 cup marinade and store in the refrigerator.
2. Place pork tenderloins in bag with marinade mixture.  Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight to marinate.
3. Preheat over to 400F. Lightly spray a 9x13" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
4. Place the tenderloins in the prepared pan side by side and discard the used marinade.  Roast 30 minutes.
5. Brush reserved marinade over the pork.  Continue to roast the pork until thermometer registers 155F.  Transfer to a cutting board and let stand 10 minutes with a foil tent.
6. Thinly slice pork and serve.
